In response to the growing trends of circular economy and net-zero carbon emissions, the reuse of waste and residual materials has become an important direction for companies seeking to reduce environmental impact and increase resource value. In this project, GEORDING Machinery assisted the customer in building a complete waste residual material pre-treatment system for renewable energy applications. The system uses a Quad Shaft Shredder as the core front-end equipment and integrates automatic conveying, sorting and storage, dust collection and dust suppression, and PLC control systems to help convert industrial waste residual materials into more stable and reusable renewable energy feedstock.
This project focuses on the front-end processing of industrial waste residual materials, high-toughness materials, and mixed waste. GEORDING’s Quad Shaft Shredder, also known as a four-shaft shredder, features a low-speed, high-torque design. Through synchronized four-shaft shearing and repeated shredding, it can reduce large-sized or mixed waste materials into a more stable output size, making them easier to convey, sort, store, or further process into RDF / SRF renewable energy feedstock.
Integrated PLC Control and Dust Collection System
The system is equipped with PLC control to monitor equipment operating status and help reduce the risk of material jamming, overload, and unexpected downtime. Depending on the full-line configuration, the system can also integrate information such as machine temperature, material temperature, standby time, and power consumption to improve on-site management efficiency.
To address dust that may be generated during shredding and conveying, this project also includes a dust collection and dust suppression platform. This helps improve the working environment and supports a production line that meets the requirements of modern factories for environmental protection, safety, and stable operation.
Modular Whole-Plant Planning for Higher Line Stability
GEORDING Machinery provided a customized system plan based on the customer’s material characteristics, production capacity requirements, and site conditions. The Quad Shaft Shredder, automatic conveying, sorting and storage, dust collection and dust suppression, and control system were integrated into a complete production line. Through modular configuration, the system helps reduce equipment connection issues, improve overall operating efficiency, and retain flexibility for future expansion and upgrades.
