Geording Machinery designed and delivered a customized hydraulic cutting table (hydraulic cutting machine) for one of Southeast Asia’s largest paper groups, with high production efficiency and operator safety defined as the core objectives from the very beginning of the project.
Paper production lines handle large volumes of paper rolls and sheets on a daily basis. These materials vary significantly in size and weight, while operators are required to work in close proximity to the equipment for extended periods. Any weakness in machine design can directly impact production efficiency and, more importantly, workplace safety.
After thoroughly assessing the customer’s on-site workflow, paper specifications, and existing equipment layout, Geording re-engineered the cutting section and developed a hydraulic cutting machine tailored specifically to the group’s production environment. The machine features a robust steel frame structure designed to withstand long-term, high-frequency cutting operations while maintaining structural stability and preventing deformation. Specially treated cutting blades were selected to enhance cutting force and durability, reducing blade replacement frequency and ensuring clean, precise cuts with every operation.

Automatically stop machine operation when personnel enter hazardous zones, significantly reducing the risk of pinch and crush injuries. -

High-reliability safety components from Japan ensure stable and dependable braking and locking performance at critical control points. -
Customized Safety Guard Rails
Guard rail height and placement are customized according to on-site traffic flow, clearly separating operator zones from walkways.
These safety-focused design measures allow operators to maintain high productivity while working in a safer and more controlled environment, effectively reducing accident risks and unplanned downtime.
In addition, the dimensions, stroke length, and operator interface of this hydraulic cutting table were fully customized to meet the customer’s requirements. The system integrates seamlessly with existing conveying and stacking equipment, enabling smooth implementation without major modifications to the original production line.
